The Bumblebee project: Chapter 1 - Timmy learns to fly

a short story in development!

Timmy a simple earwig, dreams of flying every day. When the other bugs make fun of him a bumblebee named Benny decides to take him for a ride.. Timmy gets his dream and forms an allegiance with Benny. The other bugs are shocked and each reveals they’re unique goals and strengths while learning to respect each-other and the environment. The are the – Good bugs! The group forms a super hero team of everyday bugs, working to save the gully from an approaching disaster.

Chapter 1 was shot on location and the final short will be online soon. The pre-vis demo is available below. The project is seeking funding for story development and larger production goals.

FIRST LIFE ON EARTH - FLOEMOVIE.COM

A pre-pisualization / animatic to show 'look and feel' of this hybrid concept

This project covered 3 separate goals.

1.Test the new motion control camera crane with Dragonframe
2. Show of miniature set design and miniature landscapes, collect samples.
3. Apply for a grant to fund the story and production.

Two wins and a loss..had to short cut plans when a new job out of town started. Learned a lot and have some good materials, built my first set stop motion puppets the motion control crane worked great, I still hope to find funding to complete this Imaginative Sci-fi comedy. Plan on making effort to shop the project and improve the pre vis starting point.

100000 years in the future, Long after the Earth had already been destroyed twice, a sarcastic political dinosaur named Don plots to sabotage a rescue teams effort to find a million missing workers, and prevent the world from a third catastrophic event.
A Hybrid Sci-fi Comedy – Stop Motion concept.

Santa an immortal overweight white haired liberal is the leader of an elite squad of special superhero agents. The team is assigned a one way mission to find a million missing workers and why no signals have been returned from hyper-loop 6 in ages.

The team is joined by a right wing government agent Don, that has a hidden agenda and is quickly called out. The team is unaware of the real issues they’ll soon face and quickly find out. Many secrets are revealed, and the team must survive to save the planet. Don the sarcastic political dinosaur has lost his workers and must get the team to help him. Due to Don’s ignorance he could easily destroy the world’s populations.

Or is that the plan?

Now they are all fighting for their lives and a way to send a message back before the entire planet is destroyed for a third time.

I love working with my hands and been looking for more fabrication projects. Creating rigs for for stop motion and puppet creatures is one of my top goals. Where I would love to focus my time and efforts.
