ULTRA HIGH RESOLUTION PANORAMIC IMAGING – GIGAPIXEL IMAGING – MARCO IMAGING

Darrin Nupuf of Proimages Communications is working with cutting edge motion control technologies to create ultra high-resolution panoramic images. These are sometimes known as gigapixel images. Our system involves a special camera robot that helps create a mosaic of high-resolution digital photographs.This system is repeatable and very flexible. We are working on developing digital mattes and merging technique’s with our 3D animation software.

We can offer printed panoramic images at almost any size and resolution. A 40 shot grid works out to approx. 15′ x 5′ at 300 dpi roughly a 4 gig image. These are shot with ultra high quality lens and camera combinations. For example, a 100mm prime paired with the Canon 5Dmii full frame camera delivers unbelievable detail and clarity. We offer this solution for architectural shots, astral night skies, digital mattes and many other unique variations.
